NEW Jailbreak 6.1.3+ 6.1.2- iOS 6 UNTETHERED w/ sn0wbreeze iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch

Published on 12 May 2013

sn0wbreeze is the jailbreak tool that makes it as easy are restoring your device to jailbreak it, SIKMEN shows you how to get the process up and running on 6.1.3.

With this tethered jailbreak you can still boot up your device but you can't use all the system apps and Cydia until you tether boot again. So it's pretty much a semi-tethered jailbreak. 6.1.3 tethered on iPhone 3GS (untethered old bootrom), iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4g. iOS 6 to 6.1.2 untethered on all devices.

Downloaded the firmware for the iPad 3 (A1430 GSM iPad3,3) Version 6.1.3 from

*Please note that the link for 6.1.3 on that page is incorrect (links to iPad3,2_6.1.3_10B329_Restore.ipsw instead of iPad3,3_6.1.3_10B329_Restore.ipsw).

Then downloaded the sn0wbreeze v2.9.14. After browsing to the "iPad3,3_6.1.3_10B329_Restore.ipsw" IPSW, received the "Invalid IPSW" error. I checked the hash and it matched, so it isn't a corrupted file.

What could be wrong?

(running Win 7 64bit, was run on Win XP (S3) compatibility as administrator)
